Writer and influencer Zoe Sugg, model and Gurls Talk founder Adwoa Aboah, and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, have collaborated with WaterAid to design a range of limited edition period bags for the charity's new period subscription box, Fempowered.

The aim is to tackle the stigma and taboos around menstruation while raising funds 'to support women and girls around the world to manage their periods safely and with dignity', and Sugg commented 'I’m so proud to be working with Fempowered to bring more attention to the many girls around the world who have to miss school due to a lack of decent toilets or who drop out entirely. A period should never be something that holds anyone back'.
